I was about 14 years old when I entered a Camera 35 magazine contest for teenage photographers. My photograph of a tree in our backyard won an honorable mention and was printed on the cover of the magazine with 19 other photographs. Looking back, I think that was the germ for my life-long involvement in photography.

After many years of working on assignment, for ad agencies, designers and architects, I retired. Now I work for me. I have no agenda. I photograph what teases my eye, what calls out to me. It can be almost anything; architecture, landscapes, faces, work in the studio and out. It feels great to renew my love affair with the art, to again feel like it did before it became a career.
